Obituary for Mary Belle Patton, Hardin County, IL OBITUARY Mary Belle Patton, duahgter of W.W. and Julia E. Gullett, was born October 7, 1866, at Central, in Hardin County, IL. She departed this life February 8, 1946, at Rosiclare, IL. On January 14, 1883, she was united in marriage to John A. Patton. To this union were born four children, two of which preceded her in death. At an early age she professed faith in Christ, and joined the Presbyterian church at Central, later moving to Elizabvethtown, IL., where she joined the Methodist Church. In 1920 she moved to Rosiclare, Il. and there united with the Rosiclare Methodist Church, to which she lived a faithful Christian life. She was a member of the Rosiclare Chapter of Eastern Star. She leaves to mourn her passing a husband, John A. Patton; a daughter, Etta Carter, of Rosiclare, IL. and a son James W. Patton, of Elizabethtown, IL.: also two sisters and five brothers, Mrs. Essie robinson, Mrs. Clara J. Yandell, U.G. Gullett, and James W. Gullett of Elizabhethtown, IL, Ben H. Gullett, Charles Gullett of Decatur, IL. and Noah Gullett of Springfield, IL She leaves seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren, together with a host of other relatives and friends. Her funeral was held in the Rosiclare Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon, February 10 1946, with the Rev. Paul Ragsdale officiating, and burial was in the Eosiclare Cemetery.
