G. and Sarah Isham, was born July 28, 1891 in Saline County, Illinois and passed out of this life into the life beyond Oct. 11, 1928. Deceased was married to Ollie McDonald July 25, 1915, to this union was born six children, five of whom are left without father or mother; the father and an infant having preceded her to the grave nearly three years ago. Besides these five children she leaves father, mother, three sisters, two brothers and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Maud had a kind, gentle disposition, was an obedient daughter, a loving wife and a devoted mother. She bore her three years of suffering with all Christian fortitude and patience. She professed faith in her Savior Oct. 31. 1927, after which she continually requested her family to prepare to meet her in the great beyond. During her three years of suffering, her brothers and sisters and many friends were continually by her bedside, giving her every comfort and relief which they could bestow upon her and especially, we mention the very tender loving care of our mother who so constantly and patiently watched over her, giving every comfort and blessing that only a mother can know to give. She will be sorely missed by her children so near and dear. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist Church by the M. E. pastor, after which she was laid to rest in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Rosiclare.
