Obituary of Thelma Lucille Jackson, Hardin County, Illinois Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives Copyright 2000 Wanda Reed An invalid in her home for the past 18years, Thelma Lucille Jackson died at Anna, Wednesday morning, having contracted the flu on Sunday. She was the daughter of S.L. (Shady) Jackson and Rose Frances Jackson. Miss Jackson had lived for 13 years in Cave-in-Rock and with her father and sister helped publish the "Hardin ERa" and the "Rosiclare Sentinel". After her father's death she continued to publish the Sentinel for a while. She is survived by one sister, Rose Jackson of Anna. She was a member of the Methodist church and funeral services for her were to be held in Anna this evening, with a second service to be hel in the Methodist church at Cave-in-Rock tomorrow afternoon. Rev. F.W. Schwarzlose will be in charge of both services.
