Obituary for William Estes, Hardin County, Illinois William Estes, son of Mr and Mrs. Dave Estes was born 6 July 1872 in Union Co. IL. He departed this life Aug. 25, 1932 being at the time of his departure 60 years, 1 month and 19 days. He was united in holy matrimony to Mary Rose Oct. 11 1892. Ten children being born to this union, five of whom preceded him in death. He professed faith in Jesus Christ in 1928 and united with the General Baptist church of Rosiclare and was a faithful member until called home. He was a member of the Modern Workmen for 24 years. He leaves to mourn his departure a loving wife, two sons, Ezra and Rodney, both of Rosiclare, three daughters, Mrs Daisy Watson of West Frankfort, Mrs Lela McElmury and Mrs. Mayme Dale of Rosiclare, his step-mother Mrs. Dave Estes of Rosiclare, two brothers Charles and Ray Estes of Rosiclare and two sisters Mrs. Addie Decker, of Malden, MO. and Della Henson of Stone Church vicinity, also many other relatives and a large circle of friends. Interment was made in the IOOF cemetery on Aug. 25th. at 5:00 in the afternoon, the service being conducted by Rev.
