Deceased leaves a four year old son, a husband and other near relatives. She was a member of the M.E. church and formerly resided in Oquawka. The funeral service was held here, Sunday, conducted by Rev.Hanson. BROWN--At his residence near Warren, September 17, 1888, JOSEPH BROWN aged 68 years 4 months 19 days. Deceased was born in New York and came to Illinois in 1835. In 186? he enlisted in the 16th Ill. Inf. Co. F. Came home at the close of the war, and has ever since resided near Warren. He was a member of the M.E. church, and leaves a wife and nine children.--Stronghurst Graphic. VAN ARSDALE--WILLIAM, VAN ARSDALE, a resident of Raritan and vicinity since 1858, and of Illinois since 1830, when he came to this state from New Jersey, died on the 18th inst. of paralyais, aged 78 years, 8 months 10 days.--Reporter
