Miss Viola Giese of West Burlington, Ia., our Sunday School Supt., spent last week end in Kansas City, Mo., but was here Sunday where she has been a faithful Supt. for about twenty years. Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Upton and Phyllis accompanied Mr. Edwin Wingfield and Mrs. Ruby Wingfield on a motor trip to Wisconsin and Michigan, where they visited the Dells and many interesting places. They returned home early Sunday after having spent a week's vacation. Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Chinn and Mr. and Mrs. John H. Weeks motored to Monmouth and spent the evening Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eiehenberger and son Jackie of New Albany, Indiana, have returned home after spending two weeks here with the ladys parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Gillaspie. Mr. and Mrs. Clarenc Millizer, who sold their home here to Mrs. Oda Mae Renner, have moved to Burlington, Iowa. They were a nice family and will be greatly missed here. Mr. Lewis Dalton of Abingdon spent the week end here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Savage of Omaha, Neb., are visiting here with the ladys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Brown. Mrs. Vera Hester has returned home from a vacation trip to California.
