Monmouth News 6 October 1876
Died at the residence of her husband in Henderson County on the 2nd inst., of 
consumption, Mrs Nancy Gibson, aged fifty-seven years and four days. She was 
born near Fredonia, New York, September 28th, 1819. She was married to Capt W. 
J. Hutchinson, November 25th, 1840, and with her husband moved to Warren 
County, Ill. Her husband, Capt. Hutchinson, died in the spring of 1863. on the 
fifth of October, 1864.  She was married to Robert Gibson, who survives her.  
For twenty-five years she was a consistent member of the South Henderson U. P. 
Church, and was held in high esteem for her benevolence, piety, and true 
Christian graces. Her remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse  
of relatives and friends.
