Exchange st., Geneseo, died early Sunday morning at the Hammond-Henry district hospital, Geneseo, where he had been a patient the past two days. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Malachy’s Catholic church with the Rev. lyle F. Sheen, pastor, officiating. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Myers funeral home. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s cemetery, Atkinson. Mr. DeBlieck, son of Charles and Theresa DeSchepper DeBlieck, was born April 23, 1871, in Belgium and came to the United States at the age of 21. He had resided at Geneseo the past 20 years. He was married July 8, 1902, at Atkinson to Augusta VanNorway, who survives. He was a member of St. Malachy’s Catholic church, Geneseo. Surviving besides the widow are five sons, Fred, Coal Valley, John, Hillsdale, Roy, Cordova, Raymond, Geneseo, and Marvin, at home; 24 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Louis, Marshall, Minn., Theophil, East Moline, and August, Geneseo; and two sisters in Belgium.
