(DEKEZEL) NETOLICKY Dorothy M. Netolicky, 87, of Geneseo, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at her home. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Geneseo. The Rev. Michael Pakula will celebrate. Burial will be in the North Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Vandemore Funeral Home, Geneseo, where the rosary will be recited at 6:45 p.m. Memorials may be left to the Dorothy Netolicky Memorial Fund. Dorothy was born May 24, 1918, in Geneseo, the daughter of Charles and Augusta Ghys DeKezel. She Married Charles Netolicky Aug. 28, 1971, in Geneseo. He preceded her in death in 1990. Dorothy was employed as a secretary for 30 years at the John Deere Spreader and Harvester works in East Moline, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Circle 7-13 of the Altar and Rosary society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She loved and enjoyed all her nieces and nephews and their families. Survivors include six nieces, Marilyn Blair, Joyce Sunderland, Joan Cox, Maxine Swanson, Janet Peacock, Debra Muller; seven nephews, David DeKezel, Mark DeKezel, Gerald VanDeWoestyne, Ron VanDeWoestyne, Duane Johnson, Don Johnson, and Jeff Johnson; several great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews; one brother-in-law, Darwin Johnson, Geneseo; and a special friend, Evelyn Kleinau, Geneseo. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers."
