A tornado which swept across northwestern Illinois and Iowa marked its path by 
death and great damage to property. Mrs. Gottsch, an elderly woman of 
Cleveland, was taking a nap when her house was blown down and she was 
instantly killed. In that town also a school building was wrecked and several 
pupils were injured.
