Obituary of Ada Edith Lamb - Henry County, Illinois Obituary of Ada Edith Lamb Published Friday 15 Jan 1915 Kewanee Daily Star-Courier LITTLE GIRL IS DEAD Ada Edith Lamb, Ill Since June, Passes Away Early this Morning Sadness entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Lamb, living north of the city this morning, when their  fifteen year old daughter Ada  passed away.  She had been ill since school let out last June, and on the 18th of September she was forced to take to her bed and  has been confined to bed ever since.  Death came as  a relief from suffering. Born Near Kewanee Ada Edith Lamb was born March 2, 1900, on a farm near the State Road. She attended  the Huntsville School until this year,  and was also a devoted  Christian.  She has lived with her parents north of the city the last eight years.  To mourn her death there survive in the immediate family her parents and two sisters, Eleanor and  Rosanne. Funeral arrangements will be made  later.                                                                         ### Funeral Notice of Ada Edith Lamb Published Friday 15 Jan 1915 Kewanee Daily Star-Courier LAST RITES FOR MISS ADAH LAMB A large number of friends attended the funeral service for Miss Adah Edyth Lamb, which were held yesterday afternoon at the home in the country three miles from here.  Elder German E. Elsworth of Chicago was in Charge.  Elder Miller of Chicago sang three beautiful solos.  There were many beautiful floral pieces. The pall bearers were chosen from among cousins of Miss Lamb and were Lemuel, Isaac and Pitt Foster, Abraham Palmer, Robert Duff and Mr. Palmer of Rockford.  Six little girls acted as honorary pall bearers. Miss Lamb was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery.  Among  the out of town people who attended the funeral were Mrs. Isaac Palmer and son of Rockford, Mrs. Bert Palmer of Moline and Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Foster of Galesburg.
