ISAIAH LAMB AT LIFE'S CLOSE Well Known Lady Who Resided Here All Her Life Called By Death END IS RESULT OF TWO YEARS' ILLNESS Member Of LatterDaySaints' Church; Burial to Be Made Monday At 4:00 o'clock yesterday afternoon the home of Isaiah Lamb, on North East street, was saddened when the beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Sarah Esther Lamb, being a life-long resident of this city enjoyed the acquaintance of a large number of friends, who will regret to learn of her passing. Her death was caused by a cancer.  She had not been in good health for about two years and last December she underwent an operation which gave her temporary relief until two weeks ago Thursday she was obliged to be confined to her bed on account of her illness.  During the last two weeks she had suffered considerably but through it all was brave to the end when she passed away peacefully yesterday. BORN IN KEWANEE. Miss Sarah Esther Watts was born in Kewanee July 4th, 1868.  With the exception of a short time spent at Mystic, Iowa before marriage, Mrs. Lamb had made this city her home during her entire life.  She was united in marriage with Isaiah Lamb here February 5th, 1887.  To their union were born three children, two of whom are left to mourn the death with the father, namely: Miss Gladys and Willard Lamb, living at home. William Lamb passed away in infancy. Mrs. Lamb is survived by four brothers and two sisters.  They are Thomas, Bert and Robert Watts of Mystic, Iowa; Mrs. Chole Chambers of Muskegon, Mich., and Mrs. Clara Jones of this city. MEMBERS OF CHURCH Mrs. Lamb was a member of the Latter Day Saint's church of this city and was especially well known throughout the congregation.  She was also a member of the Mystic Workers Lodge No. 58 of this city. FUNERAL MONDAY Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon.  A short service will take place at the family home on North East street at 2:00 o'clock.  At 2:30 o'clock a service will be held at the Latter Day Saint's church.  Interment will be at Pleasant View cemetery. -------- Kewanee Daily Star-Courier Tuesday 26 Nov. 1912 Front page IN FINAL SERVICES Mrs. Isaiah Lamb Is Laid To Rest Final services were  held for Mrs. Isaiah Lamb yesterday afternoon at the family home on North East St., a short service was held at 2:00 o'clock and the service at the Latter Day Saints church took place at 2:30 o'clock.  Many people gathered at the church to pay final respects. Oral Sade of Joy, Ill., had charge of the service.  Music was furnished by Miss Betha Green, Mrs. John Bergland, Dr. G. M. Lovering and Ed cable.  Many beautiful flowers were offered. The bearers were Bert Boswell, John Frey, Chas. Rowe, James Renwick, James Willetts, Peter Stubistatz.  Burial was at the Pleasant View cemetery. The out-of-town friends and relatives present here to attend the service were Mr. and Mrs. McDonald of Spring Valley, John McDonald of Chicago, Robert, Tom and Bert Watts of Mystic, Iowa, Henry and John Boyd and Mrs. W. H. Browning of Annawan, and Mr. and Mrs. James McNeal of Annawan.
