Services are 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Atkinson, where she was a member. Burial is in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Atkinson. Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Homes, Atkinson. An Altar and Rosary Society rosary is at 3 p.m. at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Home, and a parish rosary is at 6 p.m. at the church. The former Alma DeBlieck was born Jan. 2, 1906, in Cornwall Township, Henry County, the daughter of Evo and Augusta VanNorway DeBlieck. She married Edward Vandersnick April 30, 1930, in Atkinson. He died Dec. 25 1966. Mrs. Vandersnick and her husband had lived in Alba Township all of their married life. After his death, she moved into Atkinson. She was a member of the church's Alter and Rosary Society; Annawan Alba home Extension Service; and was an original member of Alba Card Club. She enjoyed needlework, playing cards, and bingo. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Mary Ann Vandersnick, and a daughter-in-law, Elaine vandersnick, all of Annawan; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Descamps, and Ann DeCapp, both of East Moline; and brothers, Fred DeBlieck, Moline, John DeBlieck, East Moline, Roy DeBlieck, Alexis, and ray and Marvin DeBlieck, both of Geneseo.
