Aged Clerk of Henry County Dies as Investigation is Started

Frank G. Welton, clerk of Henry county for the last thirty-seven years, died 
at his home in Cambridge. The people of the county had employed an expert 
auditor to examine the books of the clerk's office. The auditor entered the 
office on Wednesday and began the investigation. Mr. Welton became sick Friday 
and sank steadily until his death. He was 63 years old.
