Adolph Krumwiede, Sr. Dies Saturday Adolph Fredrick Krumwiede, Sr., 68, Cissna Park, lifelong resident of Artesia and Ash Grove townships, died Saturday at 6 a.m. at Iroquois hospital in Watseka where he was admitted last week. Born November 11, 1889 at Buckley, he was a son of Henry and Caroline Schoh Krumwiede and was married January 19m 1918 to Margaret Teske at the St. John Lutheran church of Ash Grove of which he was a member. He retired from active farming in 1954 and moved to Cissna Park. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Adolpf, Jr., and Delbert Krumwiede of Cissna Park, two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Zabel of Onarga and Mrs. Elvera Marcus of Chicago; 13 grand- children; a twin borhter, Martin Krumwiede of Onarga, and a sister, Mrs. Alma Heimlich of Wisconsin. Half-brothers and half-sisters are Henry Krumwiede of Buckley, Harman Krumwiede of Gibson City, George Krumwiede of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Fred Krumwiede of Paxton, Carl Krumwiede of Thawville, Mrs. Laura Walwer of Peoria, Mrs. Lydia Teske, Mrs. Caroline Seggebruch, Mrs. Rose Weber and Mrs. Hilda Eckoff, all of Onarga. He was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and his parents. A World War I overseas veterean in France, Mr. Krumwiede was a member of Byron Hickerson post No. 432, The American Legion, at Buckley. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Knapp funeral home in Cissna Park and at 2 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran church of Ash Grove. The pastor, the Rev. William Schilling, will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Monday and until time for the rites.
