BRAULT, 83 Funeral services for Homer F. Brault, 83, of Donovan, were held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005, at Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon. Officiating was Rev. Bob Coleman. Burial was at Beaver Cemetery in Donovan. Mr. Brault died at 8:52 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at his home. He was born on Jan. 14, 1922, in Chebanse to Frank & Ruby Noel Brault. He married Helen M. Lade in Shelton on Nov. 8, 1947. She died Dec. 26, 1993. Survivors include three daughters, Diane & William Marquis, Suzanne Sauberli, all of Donovan, and Bonnie Brault of Watseka; two sons, Dennis & Teresa Brault of Watseka and Ronald & Brenda Brault of Donovan; four brothers, and six sisters-in-law, Randolph & Marj Brault of Kankakee, Duane & Mary Brault of Gilman, Vernon & Donna Brault of Martinton, Merle & Deanna Brault of Mortinton, Mary Brault of Olney and Lillian Brault of Danforth; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Geraldine Lade of St. Anne and Mary & Earl Hubert of Kankakee; special friend, Leona Stow of Chatsworth; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, one son and daughter-in-law, Roger & Debbie Brault, two grandsons, Tony and Jason Brault; four brothers, Joseph Wilber, Leroy and Delmar Brault; and two sisters, Evelyn Koester and Frances Ducat. Mr. Brault was employed at A. O. Smith for 33 years in the paint department. He was in the Army during WWII, serving in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. Mr. Brault was a member of ARC of Iroquois county and the V.F.W. He enjoyed gardening and his family. He was a Chicago White Sox fan. Memorials may be made to ARC of Iroquois County, Iroquois Memorial Hospice or to the donor’s choice. Arrangements were made by Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon.
