OBIT: San Angelo Evening Standard Tues, May 26, 1959 AREA HORSE BREEDER FOUND DEAD IN HOME Bill Jensen, about 60 a farmer and horse breeder in the San Angelo area for many years, was found dead about 10:45 a.m. Monday in his farm home about 13 miles southwest of San Angelo. Arthur Hoelsher, who lives near Mr. Jensen's farm, found Mr. Jensen. Justice of the Peace O. L. (Pop) Miller returned a verdict of death due to natural causes. Miller said that Mr. Jensen had been in ill health for some time and that his death was attributed to a heart attack. Services for Mr. Jensen are pending at Johnson's Funeral Home. Mr. Jensen was born near GOODWINE,ILLINOIS and came with his parents , the late Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Jensen to tom Green County when he was a child. Mr. Jensen's father at one time was well known for raising Tennessee walking horses, and Mr. Jensen's interest in horses continued throughout his life. His farm is located on the cutoff road between Pecan Station and the Knickerbocker Road. Mr. Jensen for many years was interested in Democratic Party functions here and atttended meetings of the County Democratic executive committee. His survivors include several cousins in Illinois, Ohio and New Mexico . (Note: Bill Jensen was 69 years 4 months and 11 days old at the time of his death. He was the son of John Thomas Jensen and Sarah K. Black. His brother Chris was deceased.
