       SERVICES HELD FOR ROBERT W. HEINS, 56 with picture

Funeral services for ROBERT W. HEINS, 56, of Onarga, were held Tuesday, Jan. 3 
at Trinity Lutheran Church in Onarga.  Officiating was Rev. KEVIN WENDORF.  
Burial both graveside rites, provided by Onarga American Legion Post #551, 
Watseka America Legion Post #23, and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450, was at 
the Onarga Cemetery.

MR. HEINS died thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at his home of natural causes.  He was 
born June 23, 1949 in Lincoln, to WALTER F. u LILLIAN M. (HASELEY) HEINS.  He 
married HELEN in Bloomington on Feb. 23, 1974.  She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, HEATHER HEINS of St. Louis, Missouri, 
and AMANDA HEINS of Onarga; one sister, NANCY WYNER of Los Angeles, 
California; two nephews; and his mother, LILLIAN.

Preceding him in death are his father, and one son, MATTHEW HEINS.

Mr. Heins was in the Army and served in Vietnam as a photographer.  He was 
past president of the Onarga Lions Club, Legion Post commander, Past president 
of the Professional Photographers of America, past president of the 
Photographers Association of Northern Illinois, and past president of 
Associated Photographers of Illinois.  He was a member of the Onarga Chamber 
of Commerce, and the Onarga Community Center, and a board member at Christ 
Lutheran school in Buckley.  His photographery was displayed at Illinois 
Artisans Guild.

Memorials may be made for his daughter's education fund or donor's choice.

Arrangements were made by Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.
