Caroline Krumwiede Funeral Rites Held Monday Funearl services wre held on Thursday Jun 18 at the Kelley Memorial home and at the St. John Lutheran church in Buckley for Mrs. Caroline Krumwiede, 56, who died Monday, June 15 at the Paxton Community hospital, where she had been a patient for nine weeks. She was born October 11, 1897 in Buckley and was married there October 21, 1916 [this marriage is well-documented to have taken place 21 Oct 1917] to Alvin Krumwiede, who survives. Surviving children are Armand, who recently returned from Korea because of his mother's illneess, and Arlon of Kankakee. Two grandchildren survive, and a duaghter, Mrs. Augusta Lammers preceded her in death. Five sisters survive. They are Mrs. Elizabeth Nieman, Mrs. Anna Lammers, Mrs. Mathilda Kottke, all of Buckley, and Mrs. Bertha Korlick of Chicago. Two brothers, John Rust of Buckley and Frank Rust of Kankakee, survive. The deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran church in Buckley, and of the American Legion auxiliary No. 432. The Rev.
