Obituary for Mrs. Carolina W. Krumwiede, Iroquois County, Illinois Resident of Buckley dies; rites Friday Mrs. Carolina W. Krumwiede, 89, died at 7:55 a.m. yesterday at her home in Buckley. Funeral services will be coducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, Buckley, the Rev. Fred H. Stennfeld officiating. Burial will be in St. John cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening at the Ford-Baier Funeral home, Buckley. Mrs. Krumwiede was born March 24, 1880, in Elistown, daughter of Peter and Marie Jurgens Weisenbarn. Mrs. Krumwiede married George H. Krumwiede December 13, 1899, at Buckley. He died November 6, 1956. [My calculations and the Krumwiede family records yield a date of Nov. 5.] Surviving are four sons, Alfred of Buckley, Leo of Columbia, S.C., Albert of Wilmington and George of Washington; a daughter, Frieda of Wilmington; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, John and Louis Krumwiede of Buckley. A son, Leonard, and two daughters, Meta and Clara McNeill, preceded her in death.
