Ferdinand Krumwiede, Buckley, Dies Ferdinand P. Krumwiede, 89, of Buckley, died Tuesday, March 1, at 10 p.m. at Riverside Hospital at Kankakee. Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the St. John's Lutheran Church of which he was a life-long member with Rev. James E. Brammier officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is Thursday afternoon and evening at the Ford Baier Funeral home at Buckley. He was born December 5, 1887 in Buckley, the son of August H. and Louisa Weisenbarn Krumwiede. He attended St. Johns Lutheran Schools in Buckley and had spent his entire life in the Buckley area. He was a retired farmer. He was married to Lillie Kaufmann February 16, 19(13). They were married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Buckley. Surviving also are four sons, Arno of Onarga, Willard of Clifton, Glenn and Delmar, both of Buckley; two daughters, Mrs. Marvel Anderson of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Violet Weller of Tustin, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Kaufmann of the Ford County Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons and one sister. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
