Obituary for George Krumwiede, Iroquois County, Illinois George Krumwiede, 81, Buckley, Dies; Rites Held Thursday George Henry Krumwiede, 81, of Buckley, died Monday at 4 p.m. at a Kankakee hospital where he had been receiving treatments for the last three months. A lifelong Buckley community resident, he was born January 1, 1875, to August and Louisa Sternberg Krumwiede and was married December 13, 1899, at Buckley to Carolina W. Weisenbarn. He was engaged in farming until recent years. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Alfred, at home, Leo of Decatur, Albert Krumwiede, Wilmington, and George of Washington, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Clara McNeill of Binghampton, N.Y. and Mrs. Elra Lambert of Wilmington; 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Luhrsen of Ash Grove community. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, an infant daughter and a son, Leonard, who died in 1948. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kelly Memorial home in Buckley and at 2 p.m. in the St. John Lutheran church there. The pastor, the Rev. Walther A.
