Officiating was Rev. Carl Janssen. Burial was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Hasselbring died at 10 p.m., on April 9, 2006, at Gilman Nursing Pavilion in Gilman. She was born in July 22, 1908 in Iroquois County to Henry D. and Lillie Fisher Harries. She married Elmer A. Hasselbring in Woodworth on June 2, 1928. He died Jan. 26, 1973. Survivors include two sons, Harland & Carol Hasselbring and Myron & Wilman Hasselbring; one sister, Verna Gocken; six grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, one brother, two sisters, one daughter, and one grandchild. Mrs. Hasselbring was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cissna Park. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cissna Park or to the donor’s choice. Arrangements were made by Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park.
