         ROBERT J. HORACEK SR., OF GILMAN DIES

ROBERT JOSEPH HORACEK, Sr., 81, of Gilman, formerly of Momence, died at 8:20 
on Saturday, Dec, 31, 2005, at the Gilman Njursing Pavilion in Gilman.  At 
Robert's request there will be no visitation or services.  Internment will be 
at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Forrest Park.

Mr. Horacek was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Chicago to FRANK J. & MAE V. (CIHAK) 
HORACEK.  He married CONNIE R. ANDERSON.

His childhood and schooling was in Chicago.  He farmed in the Momence area.  
robert was a WW II Veteran of the Navy.

Survivors include two daughteres, TERESA JOHNSON of Danforth, and BLANCHE 
SMITH of Pekin; one son, ROBERT HORACEK Jr. of Pekin; three grandchildren; and 
one sister, ANNA GILLESPIE of Chicago.

Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother, FRANK, and one sister, 
PHYLLIS VEENSTERA.
