Obituary for Ida Hilgendorf, Iroquois County Illinois Mrs. Ida Hilgendorf, 84, Buckley, Dies; Rites Held Saturday Mrs. Ida Marie Hilgendorf, 84, of Buckley, died last Thursday at 8 p.m. at a nursing home in Gibson City where she had resided the last three months. She was born January 24, 1877 near Buckley, daughter of William and Sophia Fricke Beaman and spent the greater part of her life in Artesia township, with the exception of short periods of residence in Minnesota and Kansas. She was married January 18, 1911, in Netawaka, Kan., to William Hilgendorf, who died January 21, 1957. Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Frank (Esther) Dippel of Buckley and Mrs. Russell (Lenora) Blue, Millington, Mich.; eight step grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Murphy of Arkansas City, Kan.; a brother Edward Beaman of Hoyt, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews. Her first husband, John Heck, her parents, a brother and a sister preceded her in death. A family prayer service was conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kelley Memorial Home in Buckley with rites at 2 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, Buckley. The Rev. John C. Brehm of Cissna Park officiated.
