KLUMB Funeral services were held for CAROLINE M. KLUMB, 80, of Vesper, Wisconsin, on Friday, Dec. 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vesper. Officiating were Reverends DOUGLAS SCHALO & DEAN PINGEL. Burial was at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mrs. Klumb died Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at House of the Dove Ministry Home Hospice in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She was born Febl 13, 1925, in Sigel to EDWARD & BERTHA SCHROEDEL POLANSKY. She married NORMAN SCHEUEMANN on Aug. 16, 1947. He died Sept. 27, 1989. She married ARNOLD KLUMB on Sept. 9, 1994. He survives. Other survivors include her six children, ARLEN & MARY SCHEUNEMANN, of Pittsville, Wisconsin, ROGER & DIANE SCHEUNEMANN, of Vesper, Wisconsin, Rev. PAUL & CINDY SCHEUNEMANN, of Mountain, Wisconsin, DALE & LAURIE SCHEUNEMANN, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, LOREN & BARBARA K. SCHEUNEMANN, of Vesper, Wisconsin, and JANICE & JOE BASAK, of Mosinee, Wisconsin; four step-children, JOYCE & ROY SCHIFERL, of Woodinville, Washington, LARRY & RITA LUMB, (*** My not bjs could this be Klumb) of Marshfield, Wisconsin, DAVID & LORI KLUMB, of River Falls, and JILL & BOB ECKLAND, of Mosinee, Wisconsin; 15 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, ADELINE & FLOYD SCHEUNEMANN, of Vesper, Wisconsin, ARZELLA & CHARLES APPEL, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and LOIS & DOUG SMITH, of Stoughton, Wisconsin; one brother, EDWARD & ELAINE POLANSKY, of Nekoosa, Wisconsin; three sisters-in- law, LEONA LUBECK & LAURA SCHEUNENMANN, both of Vesper, Wisconsin, and SARAH SCHEUNEMANN, Plano, Texas and two brothers-in-law, VICTOR & CAROL KLUMB, of Menominee, Minnesota, and HAROLD KLUMB, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Preceding her in death are her parents, first husband, NORMAN; one sister, MILDRED TESSER; one daughter-in-law, JUDITH SCHEUNEMANN; five brothers-in-law, WALTER TESSER, WILLIAM LUBECK, MILTON & HARVEY SCHEUNEMANN, & EARL GALANTINE, and two sisters-in-law, VIOLET GALANTINE & LORRAINE KLUMB. Mrs. Klumb was employed in various jobs and farming. She was a dedicated housewife and mother. She was a member of Trinity lutheran Church in Vesper, Wisconsin, and a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Arpin. She was an AAL board member for 30 years, and active in LWML., LLL, Orphan Grain train, Ladies Aide and was an officier for the Camp Luther Booster Club. She was very active in the church and taught Sunday school and bible classes for many years. She was a member of TOPS and the American Legion Auxiliary. she was a volunteer at Bethesda Upscale Resaqle Store in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Lutheran Hour Ministries, Camp Luther or House of the Dove. Arrangements were made by Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
