Burial will be in Levenworth, Kansas, at the National Veterans Cemetery. Mrs. Krones died Monday, June 5, 2006, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. She was born Sept. 8, 1933 in el Dorado, Arkansas, to Joseph and Almeda Rogers Reherman. She married Robert Krones on Aug. 28, 1954 in Washington D. C. He survives. Other survivors include four children, Dan and Claire Krones of Scottsdale, Arizona, Denise and Bryan Caffey, and Dana Krones, all of Kansas City, Missouri; son-in-law, Gary Black of Liberty, Missouri; one brother, Karl of Chandler, Oklahoma; one sister, Delores of Chandler, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Preceding her in death are her parents, one daugher, Dawn Krones Black; and two brothers, Roger and Jim Reherman. Mrs. Krones loved to sew and quilt.
