LAMPMAN, 93 with picture Funeral services for Ruby L. Lampman, 93, of Clifton, were held Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Officiating was Rev. Neil Larimore. Burial was at the Onarga Cemetery. Mrs. Lampman died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2005, at 3:05 p.m., at the Gilman Nursing Pavilion in Gilman. She was born April 13, 1912, in Onarga to Carl Robert and Nancy Ann “Dolly” Ford Smith. She married Stephen A. Lampman on Oct. 9, 1929, in Watseka. He died Nov. 29, 1984. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Viola Smith of Onarga; several nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, four brothers, Harold, Orval, Bob, and Noble Smith and one sister, Margaret Wasmer. Mrs. Lampman was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed playing cards, baking, gardening, and singing. Ruby was known by all her family and friends as “Aunt Ruby”. She will always be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit and her deep love for her family and friends. Memorials may be made by Iroquois Memorial Hospice or the Gilman Nursing Pavilion.
