LOUIE SAINDON
St. Anne- Visitation for Louie J. Saindon, 79, a former
resident of Beaverville, will be from 4 to 8 PM. Monday at
the Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne. There will
be a wake service at 7:30 P.M.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Beaverville by the Reverend Donald
Wehnert. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may
be to the St. Mary's Catholic Church restoration fund.
Mr. Saindon died Wednesday [May 20, 1992] at Riverside
Medical Center in Kankakee. He was born October 11, 1912,
in Beaverville, the son of Philip and Helen Regnier Saindon.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lucille Regnier, whom he
married July 31, 1933 in St. Anne; three sons and daughter-
in-law, John and Frances Saindon of Lexington, KY., Larry
and Cherie Saindon of Clifton, James and Pamela Saindon
of La Mesa, Calif., a daughter and son-in-law, Louana and
Leslie Arseneau of Fountain Valley, Calif.; 11 grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew Saindon of
Momence and Ramon Saindon of South Chicago. He was preceded
by a son, two sisters and a brother.
Mr. Saindon was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of
Beaverville and a member of the Knights of Columbus. A
retired employee of the Roper Corporation, he had also been
a grain farmer.
