Louisa Krumwiede Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 12, at St. John's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Louisa M. Krumwiede, 90. A short prayer service preceded the two o'clock services at Kelly Memorial Chapel. Rev. W. Eissfeldt officiated. Mrs. Krumwiede, who had observed her 90th birthday Thursday, died at 9 a.m. Sunday in her home. She had received 92 cards from relatives and friends and also flowers and food for her birthday. She had been in failing health the past six months. Born July 7, 1865 at Elk Grove, Ill., she was the daughter of Peter and Mary Juergens Weisenbarn. She moved with her parents to Effingham, Ill. and in 1887 they moved to Buckley. She was married to August Krumwiede on Feb. 13, 1885 at Buckley. He died in October 1929 at 69 years of age. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mathilda Johnson, Mrs. Lillian Kaufman; one son, Ferdinand Krumwiede, Buckley; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Geo. H. Krumwiede, three brothers, Geo. John and Louis Weisenbarn of Buckley. Her parents, five brothers, two sisters preceded her. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery with Kelley Memorial home in charge. Six grandsons of the deceased served as pall bearers.
