DOLORES OKONIEWSKI, Mother of Gilman Woman Dies/ with picture
	Dolores Barbara Casey Okoniewski, 78, Chicago, mother of Gilman 
resident Nadine (Dave) Novak, died March 8, 2006, after a lengthy illness.
	Funeral services were held at St. Rene’s Goupil Church, Chicago with 
interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City.
	She was born June 5, 1927 in Chicago and married Thaddeus Okoniewski 
on June 9, 1951.  He died Dec. 4, 1966.
	In addition to Mrs. Novak, survivors include three sons, David, Robert 
(Shirliann and Raymond Okoniewski and six grandchildren.
	Dolores was a member of St. Rene’s altar and Rosary Society and Senior 
Citizen Group.  The pride and joy of her life was her family.  She enjoyed 
sewing, crocheting, singing and collecting dolls.  Her smile and laughter  
will be missed.
