Obituary for Orlin G. Krumwiede, Iroquois County, Illinois CRESCENT CITY -- Orlin G. Krumwiede, 75, Crescent City, and formerly of Buckley, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 1992, at Watseka Healthcare Center, Watseka. He was born April 27, 1917, in Buckley to George A. and August Coshnick (sic) Krumwiede. He married Virginia E. Bartlett on Dec. 26, 1940, in Maysville, Ky. She survives. Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Mary Krumwiede of Watseka; one granddaughter, Stephanie Krumwiede of Santa Barbara, Calif; three stepgrandchildren; and one sister, Frances Steffey of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Ray, Lawrence and Edwin. Mr. Krumwiede was raised in Buckley and attended Buckley schools. He farmed for more than 50 years and had been involved in construction work. He was a member of the Methodist Church and had been a 4-H leader. Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Redenius Funeral Home, Gilman, with the Rev. Frank Disney officiating. Burail will be in Onarga Cemetery.
