Services To Be Held For JIM POOL, 68
	Visitation for Jim Pool, 68, of Onarga, will be held Thursday, March 
30, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with funeral services to be held Friday, March 31, 
at 10:30 a.m. at Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.  Officiating will be Rev. Jan 
Miller.  Burial will be at Del Rey Cemetery in rural Onarga.
	Mr. Pool died at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2006, at Iroquois 
Memorial Hospital in Watseka.  He was born June 30, 1937 in Piper City to 
Oscar & Aldea Rabideau Pool.  He married Grace Tilstra in Onarga on June 15, 
1957.  She survives.
	Other survivors include one daughter, Judy & Nick Kolitwenzew of 
Donovan; two sons, Doug Pool and special friend Barb Zirkle, and Guy & Karrie 
Pool, all of Onarga; one daughter-in-law,  Pam Pool of Onarga; four 
grandchildren; two sisters, Rita & Ron Crosby of Mukilteo, Washington, and 
Linda & Doug Porick of Kapolei, Hawaii; four brothers, John & Joyce Pool of 
Thawville, Bill & Joan Pool of Gibson City, Bob Pool, and  Dale & Joyce Pool, 
all of Onarga; one sister-in-law, Norma Pool of Gilman.
	Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother, Dick, and one 
sister, Helen.
	Mr. Pool was owner/operator of Pool and Son’s Garage.  He was a member 
of the National Riflemen Association, and the Onarga Volunteer Fire Department 
for 23 years.  He loved his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors 
at the cabin.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Memphis, 
Tennessee, Onarga Firemen’s fund or to the donor’s choice.
	Arrangements were made by Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.
