SERVICES HELD FOR PEARL E. POSKIN, 83 with picture
	Funeral services for Pearl E. Poskin, 83, of Ashkum were held Tues., 
Jan. 31, 2006, at Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Ashkum.  Officiating was 
Rev. Fr. James Holup.  Burial was at the Ashkum Catholic Cemetery.
	Mrs. Poskin died at 2:11 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2006, at Prairieview 
Lutheran Home in Danforth.  She was born Sept. 25, 1922 in Danforth to Ed & 
Anna Heideman Tholen.  She married Armand Poskin in Ashkum on April 14, 1951.  
He survives.
	Other survivors include three sons, Gene & Janice Poskin, and Randy & 
Mona Poskin, and Tom Poskin; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one 
brother, Edward Tholen Jr.; and one sister, Edna Hanlon.
	Preceding her in death are six sisters, Minnietta Schuler, Florence 
Nakaerts, Lillian Giffin, Hazel Hanson, Frances Tholen, and Erma Reid.
	Mrs. Poskin was a member of Assumption BFM Catholic Church in Ashkum.  
She was a lifetime member of Chat-a-while club.  She enjoyed flowers and 
gardening.
	Memorials may be made to Assumption BFM Catholic Church, Prairieview 
Lutheran Home or Ashkum Fire Department.
	Arrangements were made by Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.
