Obit: Death of Mrs. Black Mrs. Rosanna Black died at her home east of Milford, Monday, after a long illness, aged seventy two years, one month and twenty one days. Mrs. Black was a sufferer from bronchitis. Four years ago she had an attack of lagrippe and pneumonia from which she never recovered, and had been confined to her bed since last Thanksgiving. Roseanna Lightle, was born mary 4th 1834, in Ross County Ohio, where she grew to womanhood. March 4, 1852, she was married to Abraham Black and to this union eight children were born: Mrs. Mary Jane Conner, living near Milford; Samuel A., who died about two weeks ago: George A., of quincy Ohio, Mrs. John T. Jensen, of Rosenburg, Texas: William L., Abraham S., Elizabeth Belle, and Lillie Dora, all of Milford, The family moved to Fayette County Ohio, in 1870, where they resided for ten years, moving to this county in 1880, where she has since resided. Mr. Black died May 6, 1896. In early life Mrs. Black united with the Methodist Protestant Church and lived a consistent Christian life, Always zealous in the cause of the Lord and taking a great interest in all religious matters. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and her entire life was devoted to the welfare of her family and friends. During her last illness she suffered much, but bore all with Christian fortitude and died in the hope triumphant of a life beyond the grave. Funeral services were held at the United Brethern church Wednesday, conducted by Rev. J. T.
