Obituary
ONARGA NEWS

Services Held For ESEUIEL SANTILLAN, 65

Funeral services were held for ESEQUIEL SANTILLAN, 65, of Onarga, on Tuesday. 
Sept. 14, 2004 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Onarga.  
Officiating was Rev. John Balluff.  Burial was in the
Onarga Cemetery.

Mr. Santillan  died at 4:57 p.m. on Thursday, Sept 9, 2004, at Loyola Medical 
Center in Maywood.

He was born on April 10, 1939 in Matehuala, San Luis Potos, Mexico, to INES & 
JUANITA GONZALEZ SANTILLAN.  He married CARMEN PATLAN on Jan. 7, 1961 in Nuevo 
Laredo, Mexico.  She survives. 

Other survivors include one son, JUAN & MARIA SANTILLAN   of Gilman; and  
eight daughters, CECILIA SANTILLAN, DIANA SANTILLAN, CLAUDIA SANTILLAN, MARIA 
& ELIAS GARCIA, PATRICIA & ARMANDO PIZANO, & GLORIA & J. GUADALUPE MUNOZ, all 
of Onarga, NORA & RUEBEN MUNOZ  of Gilman, and LAURA & PEDRO VASQUEZ of Rome, 
Georgia; one sister, HERMANA & JUAN CASTILLO  of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico; and 14 
grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Mr. Santillan was employed by the Loda Poultry Company in Loda.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Arrangements were made by Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.
