Salmon, Jr., 46, Saturday afternoon at Woodworth Church William Salmon, Jr., a 46 year old Ash Grove township farmer, lost his life by apparent accidental drowning following a seizure suffered early yesterday morning [Wednesday, September 4, 1963] at the farm home of his father, William Salmon, Sr.. The body, according to report, was discovered at 7:20 AM partly submerged in a water tank on the Salmon farm located on Milford R.R. 2. The body was discovered by Ernie Garrelts and Gary Lucht who were enroute to work in a nearby field. The body was removed to the Barker and Son Funeral Home in Milford where friends may call until 12 o'clock noon on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Woodworth with the Reverend Arnold Reinking, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. Mr. Salmon was born October 17, 1916, in Ash Grove township, the son of William H. and Minnie Munstermann Salmon. He had never married and was associated in farming with his father. He was a member of St. Paul's Church. Surviving besides the father is one brother, Clarence, at home. His Mother preceded him in death on October 10, 1954.
