Trumble, 78, of Rochester, Washington, was held Mon., January 30, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Rochester. Mrs. Trumble died at her home in Rochester, on Wed., January 25, 2006. She was born on Oct. 6, 1927, in Gilman to Earl and Freida Seibring Meyer. She married Arthur E. Trumble , Sr., on August 10, 1947 in Gilman. Survivors include four sons, Terry & Kim Trumble, Artie & Pam Trumble Jr. and Joseph Trumble, and Walter & Carol Trumble; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Walter & Eileen Meyer, Roger and Glendola Meyer, Arnold & Pat Meyer, and Earl Meyer; one sister, Charlotte & Sonny Shepherd; numerous nieces & nephews; and Violet & Bryan Tretiak, whom she considered to be part of her extended family. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, one infant sister and infant son and two step-sons. Mrs. Trumble resided in Watseka until 1978 when she and her husband, along with their immediate family, moved to Washington state. She volunteered many hours working with individuals with developmental disabilities at the Welles school in Watseka. She also volunteered with the South Thurston United Friends Food Bank in Rochester. She was a member of the Iroquois County VFW Auxiliary 7450, Royal Neighbors of America, The ARC of Iroquois County and a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Rochester. A memorial service will be held locally at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka at a later date.
