Mrs. Trientje Rosenboom Watseka - Mrs. Trientje Rosenbloom (sic), 87, of 315 S 9th, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept 20, 1978, at the Iroquois Memorial Hospital. Born Sept 9, 1891, in Wiesens, Germany, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Theesfield (sic). She was married Dec 11, 1912, at Charlotte, Ill., to George Rosenboom, who died April 2, 1961. Mrs. Rosenboom was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City. Survivors include two sons, Louis of Clifton and Elmer of Watseka; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Arnold of Hastings, Neb., and Mrs. Mary Lou Carter of Watseka; a sister, Mrs. Bernadine Huls in Germany; a granddaughter, who was reared in her home, Mrs. Joyce Shuette of Watseka; 13 other grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Crescent City. The Rev. Harold Heinzig will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends will be received after 6 p.m. today at the Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
