Obituary for Virginia E. Krumwiede, Iroquois County, Illinois Virginia Krumwiede Dies; Services To Be Held Thursday Funeral services for Virginia E. Krumwiede, 73, of Crescent City, formerly of Buckley, will be held Friday, Sept. 1, at 11:00 a.m. in Redenius Funeral home, Gilman. Rev. Robert E. McDonald will officiate, with burial in Onarga cemetery. Mrs. Krumwiede died Monday, Aug. 28, at 4:57 p.m. in Iroquois Memorial hospital, Watseka. She was born Sept 16, 1921 in Parker, Ind., daughter of Cloyd and Alma Baker Bartlett. She was married Dec. 26, 1940 in Maysville, Ky., to Orlin g. Krumwiede. He died Dec. 17, 1992. Mrs. Krumwiede was a homemaker and an Avon representative for many years. She attended the Methodist church. She enjoyed craft work. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Mary Krumwiede of Watseka, one dranddaughter, Stephanie Krumwiede of Buellton, Calif; three step-grandchildren, Mark Goff of Orlando, Fla., Erika and Michael Young of Champaign; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Hurley of Port William, Ohio, and two step-brothers, Russell and Raymond Curtis of Xenia, Ohio. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Grace Bartlett.
