K, 16 Veterans Reserve Corps to which transferred April 14, 1864; Rank private. The rolls on file for that period do not show him absent except as follows: Jan - 28 Feb 1863 - sick in hospital at Memphis, Tenn. 10 April 1863 same as above. 26 June - 30 June 1864 sick in hospital at Camp Stooneman, D. C. The medical records show him treated as follows: April 14, 1963 to convalescent April 18 to May 5, 1863 debility October 25 to 31, 1863 dysentery Dec 2, 1863 - to Jan 16, 1864 diarrhea and disease of heart June 26 - 30, 1864 winter fever. Returned to duty; no additional record of disability found. Additional Comments: Florence Elizabeth (nee JONES) GRAMMER was the daughter of Edward JONES.
