The men were in an automobile and near the mouth of the hollow they passed three boys who had guns and were apparently out hunting. After the auto had passed a short distance down the road a shot rang out and the charge of shot peppered both men. Dr. BENNETT was only slightly hurt but the shot struck Mr. BOWER about the neck and shoulders, inflicting wounds that while painful and requiring the attention of the doctor, are not considered of a serious nature.
