OZBURN's court early today on a disturbance complaint the Court said was filed by Police Officers Claude HEISER and Ray COX. The alleged disturbance, according to the police department, occurred in police headquarters after SIRLES was turned over to police by the state following an undescribed traffic wreck in State Route 13, earlier in the day. Sheriff Tanner HANSON, who had made no report of the wreck up to noon today, indicated to State's Attorney Glenn O. BROWN that he had not completed the case. The police court did not record the defendant's initials. According to police Dr. SIRLES' car ran into the rear of a cucumber truck on the state route and left produce scattered on the highway and right of way. SIRLES appeared at police headquarters and asked to be put in touch with highway police. Police took him to Sheriff HANSON's office where, they said, he verbally roughed up the sheriff. The sheriff did not choose to hold him at the time and told police he would look into the wrecks. Police returned with Dr. SIRLES to headquarters where, they reported, he addressed them in abusive language and finally called Police Officer HEISER a vulgar name. The police complaint against him followed. Dr. SIRLES is the son-in-law of a prominent orchardist near Alto Pass.
