Wm. E. JONES of the American army, who is in a hospital in England, recovering from illness. Under date of Oct. 20 he writes: Dear Wife: I am in the hospital in England. I think I will soon be able to go back to my company. I had a good time coming over here until I got sick. I wish you was here to wait on me. Hope you are well by the time these few lines reaches you. Dear I sent you my picture the day I left N.Y. Did you get it. Wish you was here so you could see some of the things I have seen.
