Murphysboro Daily Independent, April 1, 1925

    Jerry Columbus CALLAHAN, son of Albert and Mamie CALLAHAN, was born in
Murphysboro, Ill., July 6, 1921, and departed this life March 18, 1925, aged 3
years, 8 months and 12 days.  He leaves to mourn his loss a father and mother,
one sister, Ethel Louise CALLAHAN, two grandmothers, Mrs. Holland JONES of
Herrin, Ill., and Mrs. Nancy CHEATHAM of Ava, Ill., and many other relatives and
friends.  Funeral services were conducted at the L. D. S. church at Ava, by Rev.
G. E. MEISENHEIMER.  Interment at Ava Evergreen cemetery.
