The case was an aggravated one probably because of lack of adequate professional attention in time, with the added superinduction of a tubercular condition. The little one had been ill but one week. The case is one of several which have been reported in Murphysboro-one of the worst. It was hinted some days ago that there is a diphtheria case or two not reported to the city hall. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. It was necessarily private. Burial at Poplar Ridge. Additional Comments: Transcribed by Mary Riseling from her grandfather C. E.
