The following obituary was in the Weekly Independent, Murphysboro, IL, Friday, June 4, 1915. MRS. THOS. LITTLE DIED IN ST. LOUIS Mrs. Mary Little, wife of Thomas Little died in St. Luke's hospital in St. Louis at six o'clock Thursday morning. She has been sick for some time and went to St. Louis last Saturday to consult a specialist and receive treatment. She was a patient in St. Andrew's hospital in this city for some time before going to St. Louis. She was born in England but came to this country when but a child and has lived in or near Murphysboro since with the exception of seven years spent in Herrin and six years in Carbondale. She was bout 57 years of age at the time of her death. She leaves besides her husband, Thomas Little, three children, William Little of this city, Harry Little of West Frankfort and Mrs. Anna Dugger of Arkansas. She is also survived by two brothers, John and Harry Dale, of Herrin. She was a devoted member of the Presbyterian church and a memeber of the Order of Eastern Star. Mr. Little went to St. Louis Thursday morning at 5 o'clock and will accompany the body home.
