The ceremony was performed by Rev. William BOATMAN of Murphysboro, Ill. Miss Anna BRODER of Grand Tower, Ill., cousin of the bride and friend of the groom acted as bridesmaid. Matthew BURGDORF of Red Bud, Ill., friend of both the bride and groom, acted as groomsman. The ring ceremony was used. Little Miss Kathryn IMHOFF acted as ring bearer. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. J. H. GARVER of Ava. He is engaged in farming and stock raising. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. BRYANT, prominent farmer of Levan township. For the occasion the bride was attired in a blue flat crepe dress with other accessories to match. After the ceremony the wedding dinner was served to eighty guests. The wedding cake was mounted upon the cake stand which held the wedding cake of both the bride's mother and grand mother. Mr. & Mrs. GARVER received many beautiful and useful gifts.
