MR. & MRS. FREEMAN O. HUGHES, JR., HONORED AT WEDDING RECEPTION

A wedding reception was given June 20 at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas ELLIS in
honor of their daughter Bessie Fern, who was recently married to Freeman O.
HUGHES, Jr.

The home was beautifully decorated with bouquets of flowers, gladiolas and baby
breath, all on a background of fern.

The young couple received many lovely gifts. Refreshments were served to the
following guests: Mrs. Ted LAWLESS, Mr. & Mrs. Argol HANSON and children, Bruce,
Jr., JoAnn and Alice, Mrs. Robert ELLIS and daughter, Virginia Ruth, Mr. & Mrs.
Vernon EISENHAUER and son, Darrel Gene, Ella HAGLER, Mrs. Pearl GREEN, Sarah
HARVEY, Virginia HARVEY, Mr. & Mrs. Urba HANSON, and son, Ronnie, Mrs. Gus
DAILEY, Mrs. Homer HANSON, Jimmy ELLIS, Mrs. Eugene PERRY, Mrs. W. R.
FEARNEYHOUGH, Raymond MILEUR and children, Linda, Wanda and Sandra, Mrs. George
EISENHAUER, Mrs. Mary ELLIS WILLIAMS and daughter Sharon Kay, Edith GILROY, and
the guests of honor, Mr. & Mrs. Freeman O. HUGHES, Jr.
