Monday, March 3, 1924 (page 1) Frank WALTERS Weds Mrs. Pauline DUNCAN Frank M. WALTERS and Mrs. Pauline ANDRE DUNCAN were married by Rev. H. T. ABBOT at the Baptist parsonage Saturday evening at seven thirty o’clock. Mr. Walters is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Walters of 247 Jenkins Street, this city. His father conducts a restaurant on North Tenth street. Mr. Walters has been employed in the Murphysboro coal mines for several years and is held in high esteem by his fellow workers. Mrs. Walters is the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth ANDRE of Edith Street. She attended the Murphysboro City schools. The ring ceremony was used. The bride’s brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. ANDRE accompanied the bridal couple. The newlyweds will make their home with the bride’s mother. They have the best wishes of their many friends, who join the Republican-Era in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
